I did a collection of watercolor paintings for a solo show at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens in Huntsville, AL. This collection features realistic Alabama animals with stylized zen tangle backgrounds. Each painting has a Bible verse or positive quote hidden in it. This painting has been matted and framed behind glass. Squirrels spend so much time gathering and storing food so I chose this verse to hide in this painting: “All creatures look to you to give them their food at the proper time.” Psalm 104:27
