I was pondering the Atlantic Sailfish and how he is prized because of the fight he gives. And that made me think about how some people are always fighting, despite the beauty and potential joy that can be experienced in our world. The verse hidden in this painting is “What do people get for all the toil and anxious striving…? A person can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction…”
