I saw this pigeon and the clovers in Barcelona, Spain. I was interested in how some of the European pigeons looked like American pigeons but there were other colors of pigeons I hadn’t witnessed before. Pigeons do well in human areas, which has earned them the symbolism of prosperity.
This painting is available at the Kennedy Douglass Center for the Arts in Florence, AL, until August 24. After that its price will go up 30%.
