This is for a customized 9x12 watercolor painting of one person with a detailed background using your photo. I work from a photo or two and take your specifications about color and changes from the photo. For instance, I can put the person in different clothing, flowers in their hair, give or take away jewelry, etc... This is a gift that means so much. People often cry when they see the portrait of their child or family member. The painting is done on Canson cold press watercolor paper, 140 lb, using professional Grumbacher watercolor paints. When you purchase this portrait, you and I will communicate about your preferences. You will need to send me a very good digital photo of the person you want me to paint. You can attach the photo to an Etsy message. After you purchase the listing, please answer these questions: 1) Should the painting be vertical or horizontal? 2) What color eyes does the person in your painting need to have? 3) What color/colors do you want for the background? Think about accent colors in the room it will hang in, favorite colors, neutral colors, etc. 4) Should the clothes stay the same as in the photo or do you want a different color? 5) Please give me your phone number so I can text or call with any questions that might come up while I am painting. When you send me this list of details, I ask you any clarifying questions. Within 2-4 weeks, depending on the line ahead of you, I do your painting. After it is finished, I send you a digital photo of the painting for your approval. I make any necessary changes and send you the photo for your final approval. I mail it to you in a sturdy cardboard package. I can also help you in picking out the mat and frame after you receive your painting.
