I was not quite sure I wanted to sell a large octopus I sculpted onto an old life preserver. I reluctantly brought him to a show and, of course, he was claimed by a lovely couple.
Since I didn’t get to spend much time with him, I was still in an octopus mood. This piece is to give me a little comfort as I miss the larger one. I had a sandy taxidermy base left from what Sir Finnius Finnegan was originally mounted on and used that as the base for my comfort octopus.

Shipping is covered by the listed price. I build a custom box for each painting, wrap it in bubble wrap or other padding, and wrap the box in contractor’s paper. The art is insured for the journey and shipped with USPS.
