I took a photo of some Koi Fish in a garden in Monaco and the pattern behind the fish was on a beautiful building there. Each day during my Mediterranean cruise early this year, I would paint. I combined these Monaco memories into a painting.
The Koi Fish represents perseverance. Swimming upstream against strong currents shows endurance and a refusal to quit. This is a quality we humans need too.
