I took an antelope taxidermy piece that a generous lady gave me and turned her into a fancy Victorian steampunk sculpture. She has all the fancy found objects and a copper leafed base.
She illustrates the fable of Kanu’s Lesson, where a poor hunter caught an antelope with golden horns and spared her life when she promised something better. She gave him a large pot of gold but told Kanu to save some for later.
Kanu adopted a rich lifestyle and spent that gold all up. He went back to the antelope for more and she sadly told him that was all. Why didn’t he save some for later?
