This sculpture is so cool. I did it in several steps, allowing the thick acrylic paints and glue to dry in between steps. I used recycled plugs and charger cords for some of the tentacles. The jellyfish body comes out 5” from the base! And it is a working lamp.
This lovely Sea Nettle Jellyfish was drifting along and she saw something sparkling on a rock. She grasped it in her tentacles and felt so many stories in it. She decided to make this fabulous jewel part of her. She is now known as the Heart of the Sea.
Shipping is covered by the listed price. I build a custom box for each painting, wrap it in bubble wrap or other padding, and wrap the box in contractor’s paper. This sculpture will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard package, insured for the journey.
