In my adult life, I’ve had to learn to speak up for myself. I’ve had to find my voice for speaking truth in love.
This painting represents finding your voice with the larynx surrounded by musical notes. It is a celebratory painting that I hope will also encourage others to find their voice.
I like the way the larynx ended up looking a little bit flame-ish and like it has wings. Learning to speak up, while tempering that with love, this is important. My prayer is that this painting will encourage someone on that journey.
